What can I say about me without rambling on and sounding completely narcissistic? Let's see...

I am a scorpio. (No inference, just a statement.) I have a lovely wife named Michelle, and two nephews that are crazy little monsters.

My favorite color is blue, because it's awesome. (Also because of its many psychological implications in design, but I'm supposed to keep the narcissism to a minimum, so we'll skip that.)

​

I'm into cycling, candid/street photography, Dungeons & Dragons, and have vague musical ambitions of playing neoclassical piano.

​

I bake. Cookies are my speciality, but I do have a mean chocolate cake in my repertoire. 

​

Why LEGO? It was my first real outlet for creativity. I came back to it as a source of inspiration about 10 years ago, learning different techniques that bent the perceived structural limitations of a rigid system in order to build something unexpected. And I find that quality is useful for everyone, not just creative professionals.
